| High performance roller grinder is one of the most important equipments in steel production fields and WS1260is developed based on long time engineering research in Baoshan Steel by precise electrical control and stabilization computer system. This paper discusses design and implementation of WS1260grinding roller electrical control system’s main software functions. The system is mainly used in cold rolling manufacturing procedure, supports the industry’s standard open architecture and standard electric bus control interfaces.The system can be divided into several main parts, including electric control work station, electric power equipment and control sub-system, equipment running status monitoring sub-system and grinding control sub-system. First, the paper introduces electric transmission system control technology and related software technologies as its basic knowledge.It discusses demand analysis, including the software’s general feature criteria, grinding control system’s structure and main functions in software, especially gives function analysis and use cases for grinding task management function, grinding operation management function, grinding procedure control function and equipment running monitoring function. As for this control system software design, it discusses the system’s software unit architecture and main processing flows for grinding procedure control and equipment running monitoring. In the end, it discusses the software’s design scenario, tools and main programming implementation, and summarizes the system running test and development effects.This system’s industrial computer units support industrial Ethernet transport protocols, uses the widely-used QNX multi-task operating system to provide running environment for control processes. Its online test in trial running shows that it reaches the technical criteria. |
