Corrosion of bottom plate of crude oil tank is one of the major problems have longplagued China’s petrochemical enterprises.Corrosion of crude oil is not very strong,theproblem mainly from crude oil with water and corrosive impurities,after a long-term watersinking of floating oil deposition in oil tank bottom. The sedimentary water in the complexcomposition, and also contains various microorganisms; the impact of floating roof tank andliquid column vibration, turbulence, and makes the bottom plate corrosion added mechanicalfactors; serious corrosion of floating roof tank column under the bottom plate, and asignificant correlation with the crevice corrosion. Based on the analysis and Research on thecorrosion of bottom plate of oil tank, the form and mechanism of corrosion of bottom plate,focuses on the study of sacrificial anode cathodic protection law protection for the tank bottomplate, for the selection of sacrificial anode materials, installation of the anode, the anode of thelength of service life and how to replace the anode are analyzed and the comprehensive study.Coatings corrosion and cathodic protection using both called the combined protection.Combined protection is currently one of the most important methods of underground pipes,metal building anticorrosion. Combined protection makes the corrosion control methodscomplement each other, this is because the anticorrosion coating is not damaged intransportation and construction, in production. In addition, the defects of the coating itself,such as micro, aging, and not be completely protected metal and the corrosion environment,the dielectric isolation. Since there is no absolute good covering, usually can not getsatisfactory result of protection. Take the combined anti-corrosion coating and cathodicprotection, by electrochemical methods of cathodic polarization, and ensured by protecting theelectrochemical metal body uniformity, control the corrosion cell generation, to make up forthe lack of the coating corrosion. Thus, the coating corrosion cathodic protection, and theeffectiveness of cathodic protection insulation and protection current density depends on thecoating. Extended service life, greatly improving the anti-corrosion use period.
