With the rapid development of oil and natural gas industry, the advantage of pipelinetransport has become increasingly prominent, long-distance pipeline construction is alsoadvancing rapidly. However, oil leaks caused by corrosion also occurred, the immeasurabledamage makes a big threat to the pipeline transport.The object of study for this thesis is Yan-Xi oil pipeline from the Extend oil pipelinecompany. The background is the existing prevention system; I summarized analysis thecorrosion mechanism of the pipeline, based on the current prevention facility of the pipelineand landform, and use advanced technology to research Yan-Xi monitoring system for thecorrosion of oil pipeline. The system use network to control and manage the remotemonitoring system, then it will know the extent of corrosion, and analysis the regular patternof corrosion, and provide a decision making to design a scientific corrosion preventionsolution. It also considers pipeline protection requirements, analysis the collected corrosiondata, know well the corrosion extent of the in-service pipeline, and design a feasible protectionsystem. At last, it will establish a reasonable corrosion prevention system according to theexperimental data, and build up a function of following online, monitoring, protection, andcorrosion prevention for the pipeline corrosion.The Yan-Xi pipeline is designed with big output, and it has a big task for oil transport, so itis very important to build up a reliable corrosion prevention system. The monitoring system isbased on the Web remote control system and follows the J2EE standard, whatever the designand system maintenance, it will extremely convenient. The corrosion prevention solution isbased on the existing protection, build up a reliable protection according to the experimentaldata, and realize pipeline corrosion prevention and protection function. And it will provide areliable safeguard for safety production, and make the production safe, smooth, and efficient.
