At present, the mainly new type of auxiliary transportation equipment includes rubber tyred car, rack car, rail car and monorail crane. Monorail crane is high-profile in the new type of auxiliary transportation equipment, so monorail crane is growing steadily in recent year, monorail is widely used for hydraulic monorail, diesel monorail and battery monorail. These three monorails have common problems of poor climbing ability, heavy car lose control frequently, which can cause accidents occasionally.To solve the common problems of the three monorail mentioned above, the endless rope monorail system has been designed in this paper. It has the advantages of climbing ability, safety and efficient operation.Firstly, after investigating of a certain mine and learning the usage of endless rope monorail crane, the collection of the relevant data has been completed, Preparing for endless rope monorail crane design.Secondly, the structure design of the endless rope monorail has been done with Solidworks software, including walking device, lift device, brake device, connect device, fix root of steel cable, drum and Joe rope wheel. Select the wire rope, the diameter is Φ26mm determined by theoretical calculation. Also select the i-steel, and briefly introduce its installation method, finally get the whole device model. Finally, statics and dynamics analysis of each device have been completed by using the ANSYS Workbench software, determine the rationality of the mechanism design and the natural frequency to provide theoretical basis for further research.Finally, the main component of endless rope monorail steel cable is studied. Determine the force of steel cable through the mechanics theoretical calculation, briefly introduce the failure mode, predict the service life, analysis steel cable on the basis of the theoretical calculation to insure safety and provide theoretical basis for future research.
