The tufting jacquard system is the key to the tufting carpet technology.It owns much significance of improving the domestic jacquard technology of carpet tufting machine to break the foreign monopolization.The thesis studies on the principle of carpet tufting and jacquard,as well as tufting jacquard process and puts forward small servo motor jacquard system by researching and comparing similar products at home and abroad.This system not only breaks the limit of traditional multi-level loop jacquard and beautifies the carpet pattern,but also simplifies the machine and achieves flexible control,which is designed to substitute for magnetic-clutch jacquard and cam jacquard.The main research topics are as below:(1) This step servo multi-level loop jacquard control system compared with two former generations of jacquard system put forward the function structure and made the frame of workflow in accordance with improvement requests of the function after research the principle of carpet tufting and jacquard,as well as tufting jacquard process.(2) The step motor group control system was built up through multi-singlechip group based on RS-485 Bus.The hardware circuit design and the selection of components solved the signal conversion problem between RS-485 serial and RS-232 serial,TTL-level.The photoelectric isolation ensured the reliability of data transceiver and the control of motor-driven.The issues which would be encountered in workshop such as bus contention and interference were fully taken into account in circuit design and bus network installation.(3) The protocols of the system were designed according to the consideration of jacquard control process and function,based on the RS-485 serial protocol.Delphi used to prepare PC program and design debugging interface create the flexible control platform for the master-slave communication and data transfer.The single-chip program by C programming language achieved the RS-485 serial communication including receive data from PC and control the step motor group through calling data.The system was debugged successfully combined with the hardware circuit.(4) The phenomenon of transitional loop encountered in the carpet tufting process was explained through the mathematical model creation of step motor acceleration.The dynamics model of step motor was built up to study acceleration curve.The compensation program was established, including the calculation of the compensation amount and the design of compensation curve.The problem of transitional loop was solved through the method of the step motor speed compensation at last.This system is more convenient to control and beautifies the pattern of the carpet much more than before so that the products are more competitive in the market.
