Design Of The Jacquard Component For The Level Cut And Loop Pile Tufting Machine

As the development of the tufting technology, it becomes more and more various of the tufting carpet’s assortment. People’s demand on a variety of middle-high class carpets is greatly met. The requirement of the middle-high class tufting carpet is large in our country, but the tufting machines mainly rely on importing from other countries, and the tufting technology of our country is still relatively backward. As the key technology of the tufting machine, the jacquard system’s research has an important significance, and it’s extremely important for the development of domestic middle-high class carpets industry.In order to meet the requirement of the middle-high class tufting carpet equipment for the domestic market. This dissertation studies on the principle of the carpet tufting, and design new components of jacquard system for level cut and loop pile tufting machine that produces middle-high class carpets.First of all, by analyzing the research status of the tufted jacquard technology, expounding the significance of the jacquard components’design for level cut and loop pile tufting machine, proposes several designs of jacquard components, demonstrates the design of jacquard components through compared analysis.Secondly, according to the design, the project completed the mechanical structural design of the jacquard components for level cut and loop pile tufting machine, including the executive body design of the hook, the tufting needle and the terry knife, the mechanism design of jacquard shutter. Calculated the executive body design, carrying out the simulation analysis of the movement of the executive body by using the analytical software ADAMS and not only to verify the reasonableness of the movement of executive body, but also provide a basis for optimal design of the jacquard executive body. Based on the kinematics simulation and the beat timing analysis of the executive body, proposed a new hook executive body to achieve the performance optimization of movement with the timing for the needle and hook.Finally, the project completed the design of control system and building and debugging of the test platform. After the debugging, this design of jacquard system for level cut and loop pile tufting machine is believed to meet the basic requirements of practical engineering.
