Research On Jacquard System For Three-Level Loop Tufting Machine

At present, the requirement of tufting carpet is large in our country.But the tufting machine mainly depends on importing from othercountries. The tufting technology of our country is backward.The key technology of tufting machine is jacquard system. By now,there is no other tufting machine research institute in our country exceptDong Hua University. It is the necessary trend to improve the domesticjacquard technology of carpet tufting machine to break the foreignmonopolization.This dissertation studies on the principle of carpet tufting. Based onreview of foreign jacquard system, design two components of jacquardsystem, namely pattern preparation system and jacquard control system.Furthermore, the jacquard system for three-level loop tufting machine isdeveloped.(1) Through research on the technique of tufting carpet, fractaltechnology is adopted to realize pattern automatic generation. Colorquantization algorithm is proposed to realize color sorting. Patternconversion algorithm is presented to transform the design pattern intotechnique pattern including control information. Encrypt algorithm isdesigned to encrypt the technique pattern. The software of patternpreparation system is designed with Delphi language. Finally, the patternpreparation system is developed based on computer image processingtechnology.(2) Through research on the principle of process tufting carpet,design the jacquard control system based on servo & magnetic-clutch jacquard device. The algorithm of AC servo motor control is designedbased on the relationship between loop heights and the speed ratio of ACservo motor to main shaft. With the boards technology, present the controlmethod of magnetic clutches. The main shaft is controlled with thevariable-frequency method. The group of feed rollers run with theirrespective different speed. Then the different loop heights are presentedwith different speed of yarn feed.(3) According to the principle of jacquard control system and thetechnique of tufting, design the software of jacquard control system.Through decrypt the encrypt pattern to obtain the technique pattern.According to the relationship between different technique parameters,present the stretch algorithm of technique pattern, then design the imageprocessing module. Magnetic clutch control module is designed based onmultithreading. AC servo control module is presented based on thealgorithm of AC servo motor control. Data management module isdesigned based on the process technique parameters.
