The potential demand of our nation for tufted carpet is enormous. For the developer and producers of the tufted carpet loom, how to compete in an invincible position in the market? The new core technologies and new products must be self-developed. The servo traverse jacquard is one of the key technologies to optimize the jacquard process, to achieve digital, intelligent, high-speed production of tufted carpet. The servo traverse jacquard greatly enrich the flowers of the carpet, meet the demand of complex flower jacquard and fast conversion of multi-pattern flowers. It has an important significance and wide application prospects to develop the national tufted carpet technology.In the tufted carpet servo traverse jacquard system, the lateral movement is obtained by driving the rows of tufting needles. And the lateral movement of rows is mainly achieved by driving the mechanical cam or electronic cam. In this paper, the way of electronic cam servo traverse jacquard is researched. The system based on electronic cam servo controller as core, industrial computer as support, CAN network communication as carrier, LENZE servo motor as power element has been discussed. Electronic cam servo traverse jacquard system realized that tufting needles rows traversed horizontally driven by controlling servo motor to process traverse jacquard carpet according to designed flower pattern.(1) Through the detailed analysis of the principle of tufted carpet traverse jacquard, the method of electronic cam servo traverse jacquard is overall designed.(2) According to the principle of electronic cam traverse jacquard and the control requirements, the calculation and selection of servo motor and ball screw in this system were completed. In connection with the Cam-type servo controller, the performance of its hardware and its proprietary operating software were analyzed.(3) The motion control card based on TMS320F2812 DSP was designed to improve the functioning speed and accuracy of the system. The electronic cam traverse jacquard control system was designed and the algorithm of flowers conversion which helps to convert the flower-shaped figure to process data was proposed. As well as the design and conversion software of the system was designed.(4) The mathematical models and realizable method of tufted carpet servo traverse compensation system was proposed. And the anti-jamming of this system was analyzed and designed.By debugging on the DHT-D200S tufting carpet machine, it has been proved that the application of pattern design software greatly facilitated the operation of the field personnel. The servo pattern traverse system is stable, efficient and feasible. The coordination between various systems is quite good. And it has excellent product results.
