Since the last third of the 19th century, great attention has been paid to triazole compounds, which have been found to show wide spread biological activities. Many of them have been developed and used as fungicides, plant growth regulators and medicine. Today, because many bacterias are resistant to drugs, developing novel structural triazole compounds of high activity becomes a new research hotspot.In this paper, the developing survey, action mechanism, structure-activity relation-nship and biological activities of triazoles were reviewed. through epoxidation reactions, eleven novel triazole compounds were designed and synthesized. The structures were listed as follows:Their structures were confirmed by means of EA, 1H NMR, IR, and MS. The results of premliminary biological tests showed that many of these compounds possess good antifungal activities. Compound V4(R1= OCH3) possess higher antifungal activities comparable to commercial fungicides(difenoconazole and tebuconazole). It cound be candidate of the fungicide.Herbicide metamitron [trademark Goltix] is a comparatively selective pre- and postemergence herbicide for weed control in sugar beet crops. In this paper, It was synthesized after six steps with diethyl oxalate as row material. Process parameters of each procedure was discussed, and the better datas of yield was obtained.
