This paper is mainly about the soil characteristics and Eco-geologic environment with the area of 920 Km~2 in Lujiang River of Nujiang River. Through the field observation, sampling test and indoor material sorting, this paper summarized the basic feature of soil, the relationship between soil and bedrock, vegetation. Beside this, the influence that bedrock gives to vegatetion and the whole Eco-geologic environment are discussed.In addition, through the research of ecological geological environment in the survey, including Climate, hydrology and geological disaster, human activities, here gave an Eco-geologic environment evaluation. Results are as follows:(1) Here discussed the types, distribution, and basic feature in the region, and the focal points are on different soil sections on virous parent materials. There are red loam, yellow earth and brown forest soil. Red loam is red with obvious layers. The thickness is in the rage of 20-40cm. Vegetation growth is on a middle level. The yellow earth is yellow obvious layers. This type of soil is used as arable land. Brown forest soil is dark brown. The thickness is about 40cm, Vegetation growth is on a middle level.(2) Field sampling and indoor geochemical analysis were used in the samples of distinct soil sections to find the relation between soil and parent materials in chemical element, and provide materials to the use of land and profection of Eco-geologic environment.(3) Based on the comparison of different parental soil composition, the paper researched the relation between different soil and vagatation. The soil developed from Quaternary sediments is rich in chemical element. That is good to vegatetion. The soil from different bedrocks and the bedrock exist a certain succession in chemical elements. The soil developed from stratum WoNiusi are the best one. Besides water conservation function of bedrock is good to the vegetation.(4) At last, paper compared and analyised the relation between soil and Eco-geologic environment separately on the west, the banks and the east of Nujiang River. Based on tne summerisation of the material in soil, climate, hydrology, soil, vegetation, geological disasters, human activities ect, the paper gave a qualitative evaluation and protection measures about Eco-geological environment...
