| Drilling fluid has an important role in drilling engineering, known as the "blood" of drilling, which is one of the criteria and instruction of production, design of drilling fluids is related to drilling construction’s success. Advanced design of drilling fluids can effectively guide drilling operations in site, improve efficiency and reduce the cost of drilling. Reasonable design of drilling fluids can not only protect the bear reservoir but also help to find the new reservoir.Drilling Fluids Design System (DFDS) software is designed in Visual Studio2005 C# and Microsoft Access2003 database based on Windows platform. DFDS software runs in accord with standard Windows application, which makes the software operating mode standardized and simplified. DFDS is consist of four modules: drilling fluids design, examples searching, drilling fluids tools (MudWare) and professional knowledge of drilling fluids.Main conclusions about DFDS are as follows:Studying on geological characteristics and drilling fluids technologies of Shengli oilfield, taking examples by the latest research results of drilling fluids design system, according to the basic rule of drilling fluids design, we built the Rules Base of drilling fluids design. Summing up the technologies of drilling fluids and collected the successful drilling fluids design in Shengli oilfield, we built the Example Base of drilling fluids. DFDS software system has a special module to aid mudman computing and analyzing the rheological properties and hydraulic parameters of drilling fluids quickly and automatically. DFDS software system provides functions of drilling fluids costing and printing for drilling fluids design report forms. DFDS software system has a special module to help mud engineer learning more knowledge about drilling fluids. Through field application on some wells in Changdi oilfield, DFDS software system can meet the demands of drilling fluids design. |
