With the continuous exploitation of oil and gas resources,Integrated high quality reservoir scale is shrinking.The amount and risk of investment in oil and gas field are increasing.The exploration in new areas of low grade oil reservoir take an increasingly large share.At the same time,accelerating the construction of city and the limited of drilling ground conditions lead to the increasing of the cost of development.All oil and gasd evelopment companies have made reducing comprehensive petroleum exploration cost and improving the comprehensive development benefit of oil reservoiras an important research direction.Slim hole drilling technology can effectively reduce the cost of comprehensive development in developing the old liberated area,small scale reservoir and low permeability reservoir etc.In recent years the technology has become an important approach to improvereservoir comprehensive development benefit and develop the old liberated area.Compared with the conventional borehole,cost is typically save 15 ~ 30% with the same well depth.The rate could be as high as 50% in the marginal and difficult transport area.Based on the above conditions,using the slim hole drilling technology developlow-yield,low-benefit reservoir and the old liberated area in Shengli Oil Field.This paper carried out the research of matching technology of slim hole drilling aiming at the characteristicsanddifficulties in Shengli Oilfield Exploration and development.Include studying on the perfection of Slimhole PDC bits,MWD and LWD for Shengli Oilfield;studying on the perfection of completion fluid system or Shengli Oilfield;Optimizing the BHA of slim hole well for Shengli Oilfield;forming a set of Slimhole Drilling Technology for Shengli Oilfield.The application effect of research in xin16-xie13 and ying2-xie41 Indicates that slim hole drilling technology have great application prospect in developing the old liberated area and low-yield,low-benefit reservoirs etc.It can become one of the important means to improve oil recoveryratio and stable yields.Also has the certain model function to other similar old oilfield.
