Research On The Preservation And Development Of Karst Caves Landscape Resources In Southwestern Area Of Hubei

As a kind of special landscape resources underground, karst caves has diverse landscape values with non-renewable, irreplaceable and landscape repetitive feathers. The southwestern area of Hubei is the heartland of the development of karst, and people there have had a close relationship with karst caves since the origin of Ba people 4000 years ago.This article selects the karst cave scenic resources in the southwestern area of Hubei as the main investigation object, with the professional knowledge on landscape architecture combined with the professional knowledge of geology, karst tourism and other related theories, preventing excessive damage of karst landscape resources and missing of characteristics losing, resolving the conflicts between the protection and development of the regional socio-economic development, karst cave natural environment and cultural heritage, providing an example for karst caves landscape resources preservation and developement.Firstly, the paper defines the conception of karst caves landscape resources, introducing the research achievements of karst caves landscape in related areas, and conclude its characteristics into three parts:ecological fragility, aesthetic uniqueness and valuable diversity. Second, it traces back geographical background and cultural background of karst caves landscape resources in southwestern area of Hubei, and summarizes its characteristics and cultural changes. Third, according to the field investigation data, from natural agents and cultural agents, this article summarizes elements of karst caves landscape resources in southwestern area of Hubei, according its combinatorial characteristics divides karst scenic caves into three categories, namely the category of cultural activities, geological tourism and overall experience, and summarizes the present situation and problems of three categories. In the end, the paper proposes the basic principles of the preservation and development for karst caves landscape, with introducing the development models of ruins parks, geological parks and theme parks, aiming at prominent problems of three categories, puts forward their developmental points.
