| With the development of society and economy, industrial waste, solid waste and toxic chemicals are increasing and are polluting our environment heavily. Therefore, environment issue is on top of the agenda of governments across the world.Since its establishment in 1991, Dalian Dongtai Industrial Waste treatment Co., Ltd has been engaged in the treatment of industrial waste. After twenty years of development, the company has grown into one of the largest companies engaging in the treatment of solid waste in China. In Dalian, over 600 companies'industrial wastes are handled by Dongtai Company. The Company now has actually monopolized the sector of industrial waste treatment in Dalian. However, as the Company expands its scale, its original treatment sits and equipments have fallen short of demands. To become a comprehensive environmental protection company, the Company also needs to expand from the field of industrial waste treatment. Therefore, program expansion and involvement in the new fields have become urgent problems facing the Company.Currently Dongtai Company is mainly engaged in the treatment of toxic waste, sewage, wastewater sludge and used catalysts. The paper will focus on the development planning of Dongtai Company in the aforementioned four fields. Under the theoretical framework of company development strategy and in light of actual conditions of Dongtai Company, the paper will start with the analysis of the problems that the Company faces by combining theory with practice. The paper will, by analyzing the current status, impacting factors and development trend, do a systematic research on the development planning of the Company, define the development goals and put forward a feasible development plan suitable for the Comcpany in order to improve its competiveness.This study will help Dongtai Company to be aware of its metis and demerits and, on the basis of market demand and its own conditions, to study and work out a strategic development plan suitable for itself. |
