A Study On Chinese Advanced Technology Industry And Influencing Factors Of Its Specialization Status In GVC

The global value chain has become a new feature of the development of economic globalization,the status of a country's industry in the global value chain has a direct impact on the development of the domestic industry.High-tech industry is an important industry to support China's economic transformation.However,China's hightech industry competitiveness in the process of design,marketing and brand management of global value chain specilization status is not strong,the status of the global value chain enterprises show the pattern of polarization,in addition to the industry leading enterprises,the majority of small and medium-sized enterprises in the global value chain has a lower specilization status.Therefore,from the micro enterprise level measure of the high-tech industry global value chain specilization status,and study its influencing factors,that has a important significance both to China's high-tech industry global value chain specilization status updating and the economic transformation.This paper constructs the domestic value added ratio,the total factor productivity and the innovation as the core index in the global value chain's comprehensive index from the enterprise level,using the data which is matching customs data and industrial enterprise database,to measure high technology industry's division status in the global value chain,the results show:(1)the global value chain specialization status of inland high tech enterprises are higher than that of foreign high-tech enterprises.(2)the global value chain division status of high-tech enterprises in coastal areas is higher than inland enterprises,and the high-tech enterprises in the Yangtze River Delta region have the highest global value chain specialization status.Further more,structuring empirical analysis model in the micro enterprise level,study the influencing factors of the high technology industry in global value chain specialization status,the results show that the positive effects of firm size,market competition and government subsidies are significant in high-tech industrial enterprises in global value chain specialization status,and the scale of enterprises and market competition have a “invert U” influencing relationship with global value chain specialization status.Finally,according to the results,put forward policy recommendations.
