Research Of Linking Modes Of The Production Scheduling On Tobacco Enterprise Information Integration Project.

In the paper, linking modes of the production scheduling was discussed after Qingdao Cigarette Factory's ERP and MES was integrated.Production scheduling is executing production planning. In other words, it is controlling and regulating daily production activities in factory. Manufacturing information sent by production planning such as product types, quantities, and manufacture date needs to be received according to actual production capacity and state of plant. Subsequently scheduling of planned resources needs to be optimized, detailed processing plan needs to be laid, and production operations need to be ordered according to actual production state of plant and manufacturing information. And abnormal conditions happened in production courses need to be handled timely, then production task needs to be scheduled again. All those belong to production scheduling. Consequently, production scheduling corresponds to production control, namely results of scheduling can exactly be consistent with actual production activities of plant.In Qingdao Cigarette Factory, MES system and ERP system are all operating presently. MES project was implemented earlier than ERP. It is expected to arouse enthusiasm and initiative of talented people based on MES system, dig out new functions from MES and ERP systems, develop products with stable quality at high level, and form first class management modes.MES project of Qingdao Cigarette Factory has more active effects on production processes of famous-brand cigarettes. It facilitates production management and scheduling drastically. ERP is a management mode of decision level, and it started relatively late in Qingdao Cigarette Factory. Now ERP and MES have been integrated organically via scheduling and coordination functions. And the two systems have operated harmoniously and fell into step with each other. It improved economic performance of Qingdao Cigarette Factory further.
