In recent years, for the purpose to meet the requirement of fleet expanding and business expansion scope, shipping companies try to continuously improve their management model and method, innovate and actively adopt international advanced management system. Shipping companies can not improve the overall management level due to incoordination caused by separated management systems.This paper focusing on problems of multi systems'overlapping, duplication, disjointed and low efficiency, tries to integrate independent systems by analyzing the necessity and feasibility, and help shipping companies to form a comprehensive management system. This paper introduces various existing international management system standards in shipping industry basing on practical experience; by comparing their similarities, differences and compatibility, proposes the integration plan and framework for different management systems, and discuss the compiling requirements and catalogue for comprehensive management system with common management manual, procedure manual, document manual and records, to ensure the practicality. The supervision network established in this paper could guide shipping companies with the daily operation and continuous improvement, analyze and compare the differences after the systems integration.From the perspective of quantitative analysis, this paper present an assessment method based on PDCA cycle, which could conduct objective assessment for the effectiveness of system implementation. Through the establishment of the evaluation system, evaluation model and evaluation method, this paper conducts dynamic and three-dimensional evaluation research on the status and effectiveness of the integrated management system. By analyzing the case of accrual running of Company C, the paper conducts evaluation for its integrated management system's effectiveness, then help the company to be aware of their current management status, identify the restrictive factors and develop the corrective/preventive measures. This paper tries to help shipping companies to find their own advantages and disadvantages by analyzing the integrated management system's operation, so as to realize their value and potential risk, take effective measures to achieve the purpose of continuous improvement.
