The Study Of Development Strategy Of Agriculture Industrialization In Jieyang

Agricultural industrialization, which has already led agriculture to prosperity in many developed countries or regions in the world, is still the inexorable trend of developing agriculture. Although the history of agriculture industrialization in China is not long, only nearly 20 years, yet it provides us valuable experience that we can learn of .As the fourth largest population in Guangdong Province (about eight out of ten are rural area people), Jieyang city has confronted lots of difficulties while developing agriculture:, some are listed as following: vast population and limited farmland, lack of resource, extensive management, etc. The key for agriculture to access to agriculture modernization is agricultural industrialization. To meet the need of development of Jieyang in the current period, the study of Development Strategy of Agriculture Industrialization in Jieyang is carried out.The article is divided into five chapters. The first chapter gives a brief introduction to the background and significance of the research, regarding content, objectives, methods, and the supporting theories in the article. The second chapter goes to industrialization of agriculture, including its definition, content, objectives and requirements and main operating modes. In the third chapter, the author summarizes the experience of agricultural industrialization both home and abroad and its significance to the development of Jieyang. The fourth chapter is mainly about the analysis of the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities and Threats, i.e. SWOT, of Jieyang city during the process of industrialization. The fifth chapter is concerned with discussing the guiding ideology, principles, objectives and the specific process of the strategy and points out that efforts should be made to restructure of the economic system from the extensive to the intensive type, promotion of agricultural science and technology, grown of agricultural enterprises and a sound system guaranteeing the industrial management of agriculture.The research project aims to help guide the development of the industrialization of agriculture in Jieyang City.
