Knowledge is the only power and source for a company to be competitive in current economy society. How to sharing the organizational knowledge within the employees is the important task for the training in a company. Orientation of new employees is a good way to help the new employees to be involved in the new environment and the new organization quickly. In the traditional orientation, the contents shall be the history and the value of the organization, the organization structure, regulations and polices, etc. With quick development of the economy and the competitive environment of the market, it cannot meet the talents requirement of the organization.Mentoring program is similar as the traditional master-apprentice relation in China. It can realize the sharing and transferring of the knowledge and skills as master-apprentice and support the new employees for the career development at the same time. Mentoring program is an efficient way for internal personnel training and talents team building.This paper starts from the definition of the knowledge with the analysis of types and characteristics of knowledge and the difficulties during the sharing and transferring. Based on the mentoring program in the orientation in sales department of MACH, it analyzes problems during the execution of mentoring program and provides solutions to improve accordingly.
