| The classical skill inherit method, mentoring program has a long history, which had developedone of popular methods to train practical workers in companies. However, after80th20century,Chinese enterprises once neglected and abandoned mentoring program. Meanwhile, mentoringprogram has never interrupted in western countries. And moreover it has become perfect modernmentoring program. For our country’s mentoring program, it is worth to have a deep thinking abouthow to inherit it and make a better development for it.However, the tacit knowledge is embedded in staffs’ mind, it is difficult to be copied andimitated, which brought certain difficulty for the tacit knowledge transfer between the mentor and theprotégé. Enterprises how to maintain the core knowledge by using mentoring program, protégés howto absorb the experience skills from mentors.These problems will force us to further research theimplementation process of mentoring program. In order to explore the tacit knowledge transferprocess between the mentor and the protégé during the interaction, this paper firstly analyze thebehavior characteristic of the mentor and the protégé, by using the mentoring program theory,organizational behavior theory and the theory of cognitive psychology. Secondly, this paper gives adirectly description of the abstract tacit knowledge transfer process, and proposes the tacit knowledgetransfer path diagram by combining the knowledge transformation theory. Thirdly, on basis of thetacit knowledge transfer process, the paper establishes a conceptual model and hypothesis of theinfluence factors of tacit knowledge transfer between the mentor and the protégé. Last, fourmanufacturing enterprises are participated in the survey questionnaire, by testing and verifying theconceptual model with the method of SEM, this paper make an empirical research on the factorsaffecting tacit knowledge transfer in mentoring program. |
