The Research Of Extending Legal Retirement Age Based On The Background Of Aging Population

With the development of economy, medical technology and the social system unceasing progress, human society is gradually entered the population aging stage. Aging population has become the development trend of world's population. Although at present the aged population proportion of developed countries is much higher than developing countries, in the next few years, developing countries aging population will speed than developed countries, especially China's aging population situation has become more and more serious.As the arrival of population aging of peak and population increasing life expectancy in our country, especially old retired life and health period have extended, China's economic development and social old-age security are being brought more and more heavy burden. The endowment insurance of our country system is faced with a serious crisis of payment. In this context, the 1950s retirement system especially the provisions of the relevant retirement age in our country is converging malapropos. The population aging of China will deeply influence future economic development, labor market and pension payment. The extended legal and emeritus age issue has caused wide attention of scholars and argument. To solve the problem of aging population in our country and social old-age security pressure, Extending legal and emeritus age is also the powerful measures in the world under the background of worldwide population aging.This paper examined our country retirement system based on related social old-age security theory, from historical and development angle, analyzed the current situation of the population aging, the insurance of China's economic and social development, and how to ease pressure on the country's aging population by extending the retirement age action. Emphatically this paper resolved how to prolong the retirement age according to the situation of our country, and referenced the developed countries on practice experience of extending legal and emeritus age. Besides, this paper proposed the basic ideas and methods to prolong retirement age in order to extend the retirement age and ease pressure on the country's aging population.
