Analysis On The Competitiveness Of Fujian Manufacturing Industry Under The International Industry Transfer Background

With the expediting of the world economy globalization, international industry transfer, which is an inevitable trend of economic development, brings profound impacts on the formation and promotion of the competitiveness of industry. Since reformation and opening, Fujian has become an important place for the industry transfer by taking advantage of the location advantage. However, seen from the whole country, the scale and quality of Fujian's receiving international industry transfer is not outstanding, which restricts the promotion of the competitiveness of Fujian manufacturing industry in some way. Under the background of buliding the West-Straits Economic Area, how to use the international industry transfer to speed up development of manufacturing industry, is an urgent problem faced by Fujian.This paper begins with the definition and the driving force of international industry transfer, as well as the definition and evaluation indexs of the competitiveness of industry, based on a review of the theory of international industry transfer and the competitiveness of manufacturing industry. Secondly, it introduces the course of Fujian's receiving international industry transfer, and uses the evaluation indexs of the competitiveness of industry to analyze the competitiveness of Fujian manufacturing industry. Thirdly, it explains the mechanism of international industry transfer's impact on the competitiveness of manufacturing industry, and studies the effect of international industry transfer on the competitiveness of Fujian manufacturing industry(including scale, marketability, industrial structure, levels of technology and industrial organization structure) by establishing econometric models. In conclusion, it discusses the strategies to enhance the competitiveness of Fujian manufacturing industry by combining a analysis of the problems of Fujian's receiving international industry transfer in the manufacturing industry and the possible restraining factors.
