Today, in china, with the fast development economy and the rapid pace of modern construction projects, the number of large engineering projects becomes more and more large. All of these bring about the rising investment and prolongation of construction projects. And there are more potential possibilities for a construction process to be out of control. So it seems more and more significant to take risk management in large engineering projects.This thesis is divided into 6 chapters. Chapter l,introduce the status in quo and developing direction of risk research, introduce the research meaning raise of research content and technical method,introduce large engineering projects, large engineering projects risk management, large engineering projects risk and relate theories. Next chapter, risk research and management of large engineering projects, is on its foundation. Chapter 2 states risk identification definition risk identification role and risk identification categories. then it analysis risk identification methods of large engineering project. The main content of Chapter3 is to cover risk evaluation of large engineering projects, introduce qualitative risk analysis and quantitative risk analysis, it describes Analytic Hierarchy Process and Monte Carlo Simulation. Chapter 4 states the major methods of risk response and the major techniques of risk monitoring and control. Chapter 5 states one of major method of the risk evaluation, (Analytic Hierarchy Process). This paper has established the model of Analytic Hierarchy Process. Then the author has applied the model to the A project and researched the risks of the employer at the end period of structure.After researching the risks, the author has bring forward the keep-away and control-measure about the risks. Chapter 6 states to cover this paper and take some mistakes in this paper.In a short, Enhancing the risk management of large engineering project is meaningful for construction companies and all the economic society. First, risk management can provide secure environment for construction companies and can promote rationalization of its decision-making, in addition, it can improve the economic-benefit and realize the management targets successfully. Second, risk management is propitious to best combination of recourses distribution and is propitious to reduce the expense of risks and its bad aftereffect, risk management is also propitious to create good environment for economy development and people's life. Finally, risk management is good to the operation of whole economy and society.
