Study On The Development Of Idustrial Cluster In Liaoning Costal Economic Zone

Liaoning coastal economic zone incorporated into national development strategy will concern in the revitalization of old industrial base in Liaoning and the northeast, during the critical period of deepening reform and opening in China and boosting the economy of Northeast. The plan will mean a lot to regional balanced development. Now in the regional development, industrial cluster is one of the world's most dynamic and competitive forms, cluster strategy has made great achievements in high-tech or traditional industries whenever at home or abroad. Therefore, more and more regions in China hope to develop regional economy by this means.Based on the industrial clusters theory, this paper mainly introduces how to nurture the industrial clusters in Liaoning coastal economic zone to enhance regional economic vitality and competitiveness to promote the revitalization of old industrial base in northeast better and faster and achieve regional economic development. The first chapter introduces the research background and significance, reviewing the research on the industrial cluster at home and abroad. The second chapter mainly introduces the basic theories of industrial cluster, including concept, characteristics and classification and factors of industrial cluster. This chapter is the basis theory for all the paper. The third chapter mainly analyzes the present industries situation in the Liaoning coastal economic zone. Based on the analysis of industrial development, we get the distribution of industrial clusters and sums up the industrial clusters in the Liaoning coastal economic zone having a feature of traditional industries, the formation stage and uneven distribution by the means of location quotient. Chapter Four mainly demonstrates the conditions in developing industrial clusters in the Liaoning coastal economic zone. It demonstrates the experience developing industrial cluster we can use and problems we should pay attention to after analyzing the favorable and unfavorable conditions. Based on the previous analysis of the paper, chapter five mainly puts forward the development principles and the emphasis in industrial clusters and the policy suggestions for the development of industrial cluster from the view of enterprises, market services and government, combining with affecting factors and practical problems in the Liaoning coastal economic zone.
