With the rapid development of China's economic, the research of TopManagement Team (TMT) theory has been a hot issue for the rising TMT of Chineseenterprises. In reality, as an inevitable phenomenon, conflict also rema ins in TMT.Handling conflict relationship well is very important for the enterprise to build anefficient TMT, and it also has an effect on the quality of decisions that is made by theenterprise. So the study of the TMT conflict ma nagement on the quality of decisions isof great necessary and essentia l.Based on the existing literature materia l and the review of the research of thescholars both at home and abroad, the effect of different conflict ma nagements on thequality of decisions is analysized. The theoretica l models of different conflictma nageme nts on the quality of decisions that the enterprise TMT adopts are built, andthe correspond ing hypotheses based on the theoretica l models are put forward. In orderto valida te the hypotheses, I do some investigations on the enterprise's senior ma nagersthrough the questionnaire survey methods. The SPSS software is used to induce thedata and test the reliability and valid ity of the questionnaires. This paper valida tes theproposed hypotheses through the correla tion analysis and regression analysis methodand concludes the effects of the five different conflict ma nagements on the quality ofdecisions. Dielectric variable cohesion is added in the process of research, and thus,whether TMT conflict ma nagement can affect the quality of decision by affecting Teamcohesion is explica ted.The effect of the Collaborative conflict ma nagement and Compromised conflictma nagement on the quality of decisions is positive through empirica l research in thispaper; while the effect of the controlled conflict ma nagement, accommoda ting conflictma nagement and obedient conflict ma nagement on the quality of decisions is nega tive.Cohesion is the intervening variable between the Collaborative, Compromised,controlled conflict ma nagement and the quality of decisions. This paper providesstrong theoretica l basis for exploring the effective conflict solution and a significa ntinstruction in practice.
