The EPC general contractor pattern is becoming the mainstream pattern in the international projects. More and more project contractors are beginning to entry EPC project fields in China. In order to guarantee the EPC project completed smoothly, the general contractor will build his organization taking the project as the center. The project, using the EPC pattern, has characteristics: large investment scale, high special technology, difficult management, and so on, which change the traditional top management leaders'working way—transferring the former supreme leader independent decision-making way to team operation leadership way gradually. The operation potency of top management team has the important influence to the organization achievements. The research about the operation potency of top management team in EPC project belongs to the front question of the top management team (Top management team, TMT) studies, which is at the mature stage in theory or practice. There are relative quite few researches about the operation potency of top management team in EPC project, in addition, top management team theory itself also is at the stage which consummates unceasingly, therefore, conducting the research about the operation potency of top management team in EPC project has profound and the significant theory and the practical significance. The main research achievements are as follows:In the foundation of literature summary research, the writer gain first materials of EPC project TMT operation potency research by selecting the method which unifies the questionnaire survey and the interview, and, using"28 principles"and"the factor analytic method", obtain the four key influence factors: leadership, cohesion, communication and conflict, which decides operation the potency of top management team in EPC project. And more, the writer has conducted the real diagnosis research on these four factors to influence situation of TMT potency in EPC project, which provides the basis for the next step key-influence management.In view of the understanding difference about the leadership integrant part, based on the leadership process, the writer has given the leadership constitution model of TMT leadership in EPC project, and, based on this model, has constructed leadership appraisal system of TMT leadership in EPC project. Unifying TMT leadership constitution characteristics in EPC project, the writer has proposed the evaluation method based the evidence theory and unascertained measure appraisement model.From the angle of expectation theory, the writer has built the model of TMT cohesive form in EPC project, and, based the logical model of dynamic expectation realized, has proposed the strategies of molding TMT cohesion in EPC project.Based on the dimension research of communication satisfaction degree, the writer has proposed six-dimension model of communication effectiveness, and, based the model, has constructed TMT effective communication model in EPC project.In view of the conflict (duty conflict and mood conflict) in TMT of EPC project , the writer has constructed the conflict gambling model, and, based the gambling analysis, has proposed TMT conflict management measures in EPC project.
