| At present, climate change and energy shortages are becoming common challenges for human beings. In this context, countries form a "community of destiny" firmly,and low-carbon economy came into being, it becomes an important way to deal with climate change. For China,it is in a rapid development stage of industrialization and urbanization, Development staget and resource endowments produce a strong lock-in effect, To adapt to the international trend of low-carbon economy, we must make efforts to guarantee the healthy development of low-carbon economy in China. In order to estimate the carbon emissions in different regions of China comprehensively and to identify the characteristics of low-carbon economy law,it is necessary to design an appraisal index system of low-carbon economy,It will provide a solid foundation for the plan-making of economic and social development.In this paper, qualitative research and quantitative research , theoretical studies and empirical studies are combined. Based on an overview of low-carbon economy in China, this paper constructes an appraisal index system of low-carbon economy.According to large amounts of data, this paper makes an empirical analysis of low-carbon economy of 30 provinces in China with AHP.This thesis can be mainly divided into six major sections.The first part is introduction. It analyzes the research background ,significance and research status of this thesis,also ,it introduces the research methods and train of thought.The second part analyzes the general situation of low-carbon economy in China. I calculate carbon emissions in China, and analyze the distribution structure of carbon emissions from the angles of energy structure, economic structure, and urban and rural structure. On this basis ,the article analyses main influence factors of carbon emissions from the angles of population, economy and energy.The third part researches construction of low carbon economy evaluation index system and evaluation method. It constructs an index system including the total amount, structure, strength, efficiency, carbon sinks on the basis of theoretical analysis and several construction principles. Finally, 16 synthetic indexes are sorted into the evaluation index system. Also,we introduce analysis method in this part. In the fourth part, it compares development level of low-carbon economyin 30 provincial regions. This part combines the integrated evaluation and individual evaluation to analyze development of low-carbon economy in different provinces. The results showed that from 2000 to 2008 composite scores of low-carbon economy has fluctuated.Using K-Means Cluster analysis method to devide 30 provinces into three groups.SPSS analysis software for all, the level of economic development in low carbon, cluster analysis showed that Hainan, Guangxi, Fujian are at the stage of middle-carbon economy . Beijing, Heilongjiang, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Anhui, Jiangxi, Hunan, Guangdong, Chongqing, Sichuan, Yunnan and Qinghai are at the stage between middle-carbon and high-carbon. Tianjin, Hebei, Shanxi, Inner Mongolia, Liaoning, Jilin, Shanghai, Shandong, Henan, Hubei, Guizhou, Shan'xi, Gansu, Ningxia, Xinjiang are at the stage of high-carbon economy. Geographically, the provinces got higher scores distributed in the southeastern coastal, the central and western (Sichuan, Qinghai, and Shanxi).Hebei, Shandong and other provinces scored lower.The fifth part is the conclusion. Geographically ,Low-carbon economy through the development of provinces and regions to analyze the following conclusions: From a regional distribution, regional differences are significant.From a time perspective, carbon productivity shows an outstanding stage characteristics . Changes of state policy has an important influence on the development of low-carbon economy.What is more, the growth trend of carbon emissions will continue.Finally,it describes the inadequation of this thesis,and prospects what can be improved in the future. |
