The Study Of Continual Improvement Of Quality Management System In HRS Company

HRS Corporation is one of the most famous heavy-duty components manufactures in transportation market all over the world. She entered into Chinese market in 2005. To get the long term success in Chinese market, the product quality becomes basis of its competitive edge, herein, a customer oriented, systematic and effective quality management system is required to be established to continuously improve the product quality accordingly.The approach of continual improvement, that is PDCA, is utilized in this article. Based on the theories of modern quality control and quality management, the need of the quality development from automobile industry, and referring to the practiced experiences from HRS US Corporation and domestic companies, first of all, the current quality management situation is described, the gap is compared between world class quality and the quality performance in HRS China, and the main conflicts and adverse factors are analyzed; In addition, the solutions are identified of how to solve the main conflicts and adverse factors, and the process approach and systematic approach of management are used during planning the quality improvement system to design the processes and the key performance indicators in HRS Company; finally, the quality management plan are implemented according the design above, and the checking methods and corrective and preventive actions are required to maintain the right direction and the effectiveness for the continual quality improvement. The research of this article is able to help HRS (China) Co., Ltd to achieve world-class product quality, productivity, competitiveness and continual improvement, and also can be a reference case for the other similar automotive companies.
