The Study Of Relationship Between Landscape Change And Farmer Land Use Decision-Making

As the core plan of global environment change, LUCC has been attracted the attention of scholars from all field. The study of land use change includes macro-scale and mirco-scale. Along with the farmer becoming the main body of village land use, it has become the main trend that researching the mirco land use change from the view of farmer.At first, this paper researches the change of land use and landscape of the study area in recent 50 years, and discovers the rule of land use change as well as illustrates different agriculture policy affecting on land system, which could provide a study background for the land use change from a farmer view. Then, this paper studies the relationships between different farmers and elements of landscape using binary logistic regression analysis from the view of farmer, and discusses the natural factor affecting the household. Finally, through a multi-scale farmer decision model, this paper simulates the behavior of farmer, and predicts the trend of the land use change, and analyzes its effect. From above analysis, a number of conclusions can be drawn:(1)The change trend of land use and landscape in Gao Xigou village.Until 2010, the superiority of farm land in the study area has no longer existed, while the quantity of grassland and woodland has possessed a large proportion of land, the patches of artificial grassland, economic woodland and ecologic woodland has increased, while the patches of farmland has dropped; the patch density of farmland and residential area has also dropped, while patch density of artificial grassland and economic woodland has increased dramatically. From the view of landscape scale, the degree of homogeneity and diversity have both increased. From what has discussed above we can find the relationship between land use change and landscape in each stage.(2)There are relationships between the different farmer's type and elements of landscape. The distance to the road has an impacts on a few household, while the slope is an uncertain fact, aspect can be considered as an objective determinant of land use change; when we shift the point of view to the farmers, the distance from land to the road is an important factor to land use change for old farmers; we can find that the migrant farmers would like to choose the land with steeper slope to abandon, and the traditional farmers tend to choose steeper slope for their decision of afforestation. This conclusion can make a foundation to the study of the interaction mechanism between land use behavior of farmers and agricultural landscape pattern.(3) The farmer's land use decision-making has effect on the landscape from 2009 to 2011.From what we have discussed, it can find that the advantage farmer having mass farm land is the dominant factor causing the landscape pattern change, and the number of farmer and the number of the patch aren't the decided factors. Therefore, the change of landscape is caused by land use change. Analyzing the relationship between land use change and landscape from the view of farmers can provide a reference to the research of the Interaction mechanism between land use and landscape pattern.
