On The Research About The Supervision Of The Food Security In Circulation Field Of The Civil Industrial And Commercial Department

Man eats to live.Therefore, food has always been the most basic material conditions that people depend on to survive and develop the society . In the national economy , the food industry has become China's first major industry. According to the information displayed, from 1993 to 1998, the value of food industrial gross output of China has increased from $ 343 billion to 600 billion dollars, an annual increase of an average of 12%. In 2003,the value of the food industrial gross output in China broke the mark of $ 1.2 trillion for the first time, compared with 940billion of that of the gross output of auto industry which it exceeds a lot. but in China and the global world, the continuing malignant food safety incidents arouse the common concern for food security. and make the goverments in other contries re-examine the issue,for it is greatly concerned with the public security of the whole country, for which Governments have made greater efforts to supervise the national food security. On the 16th of April,2003,the law of food security came into effect , which marked that the work of food security stepped into the stage of combining overall supervisison with concretesupervision.Simultaneously,it showed that our goverment was determined to deal with the problem concerning food security to keep pace with the times.In spite of that,news against food security is always on.Through the reports of different media,it is known to all that something was wrong with the milk powder in Luoyang and hotpot material in Chongqing,ect which warn us thatthere lie serious problems with food security.The social survey centre of China Youth has just finished a survey which showed the recent frequently-happening malignant incidents in respect to food security arouse the nation-wide concern about food security again.80% ofthe people surveyed showed that they were most concerned about the security of the food around them,while 13% showed that they were likely to be worried about it.Compared with developed countries, we have masses of problems with the supervision of food security ,which all contribute to causing the long-lasting incidents.To make things worse, we lack for great attention to the supervision of food security.All in all, as fas as I am concerned, in the long run, we should place great stess on improving the supervision system of food security to assure the security of the food we live on and spare no effort to realize it.
