Ethylene-propylene rubber is used in vibrators and seals; glass-run channel; radiator, garden and appliance hose; tubing; washers; belts; electrical insulation, and speaker cone surrounds. It is also used as a medium for water resistance in electrical cable-jointing, roofing membranes, rubber mechanical goods, plastic impact modification, thermoplastic, and many other applications.Jilin petrochemical company is the only Ethylene-propylene rubber manufacturer in China. But the competition in Ethylene-propylene rubber is fierce.Nine countries, twelve company's Ethylene-propylene rubber sale in China market.The situation is not optimistic. Many suppliers reported shortened availability. However, the supply shortage might be somewhat over-blown given the hefty import volumes in China. Market players were mostly upbeat about the EPR price outlook.This article analyses the marketing Strategy based on the production in Jilin petrochemical company.First, we analyze the marketing environment of Ethylene-propylene rubber. By the data both in global and china, describe the production, consumption and competitors. The production is concentrated in the North America, Western Europe and Asia. The mainly competitors are Exxon,Dow,Lion,DSM,Lanxess,JSR,KumHo and SK.Second, we analyze market demand and market structure of Jilin petrochemical company's Ethylene-propylene rubber. East and northern china is the traditional market of Jilin petrochemical company. Northeast china, south china is the new target market by the trend of Ethylene-propylene development. Core client is the important resource and can promotion the share in future.Third, we formulate the marketing strategy of Jilin petrochemical company's Ethylene-propylene rubber. Considering the influence on products, price, channels and promotion, we determine the measures. Since Jilin petrochemical company's Ethylene-propylene rubber is still in growing, the most important thing are quality, costs and service. Also we need strengthening channel management, increase in technical services and more vocational training, in order to improve the share in market.
