| In recent years, the changes of labor costs are discussed heatedly by people. As the changes in labor costs not only related to the economic efficiency of enterprise and the regional economic development, but also the income distribution and even social stability.There is still a relatively large current controversy on the study of this issue. No one can find out the determinative effect that the changes in labor costs brought about. In this paper, it uses both the normative analysis and empirical analysis to study the issue. Mainly take the data of Beijing, to observe the change trend of labor costs, the reasons of this change and the impact of the economic efficiency of enterprises and the regional economic development.Firstly, define the important concepts in the study, collate and summarize the relevant theory, review the research results at home and abroad which as the basis of this research. Then, find out the changes trend of the labor costs with the data of Beijing. The changes trend can be divided into two kinds, the absolute change and the relative change. Through the results we can see there is the steady increase in labor costs, but its growth rate is lower than the social labor productivity, while the labor costs in the proportion of GDP also declined, which shows the relative changes in labor costs does not have an upward trend. Besides, study the reason which boost or restraint the growth of the labor costs.Analysis of the impact of changes in labor costs, divided into macro and micro levels. At the micro level, research the relationship between the changes in labor costs and the economic efficiency of enterprises, in order to find out the win-win results. At the macro level, study the impact on the regional economic development which the growth of labors costs brought about from three aspects as the rate of inflation, employment and the style of economic increase. Finally give the relevant policy recommendations based on the research conclusion above. |
