With the rapid rise on industry and services in China, the development of agriculture and other industries have not been seriously matched, and the slow development of agriculture has become a major bottleneck on the economic development. Because of many deep links between agriculture and other industries in the entire economic system, it is difficult to develop the agriculture independently. If we want to speed the development of agriculture, we must accurately grasp the existing system of agriculture in the positioning of the economy, and be aware of the efficiency of agriculture fully.In this paper, we study on agricultural efficiency based on network DEA and input-output table.First, we review the development course of DEA , and define the basic concepts , theories and models on DEA ;Second, we focus on the network DEA . After reviewing the process of the matrix network DEA , we define a new model on matrix network DEA based on SBM models . Then we get the linear model by identity transformation;Third, We collect input-output tables on six departments of 28 provinces or cities in 2007 , and calculate the data in the tables using the matrix network DEA model . Then we describe the statistical results and obtain the rank of the agricultural efficiency and economic efficiency in 28 provinces or cities. Besides we discuse the difference of measured results between matrix network DEA model and traditional black-box DEA model;At last , according to the results of the model estimates, we demonstrate the relationship between input-output efficiency and economic development .We analyze the internal factors of agricultural efficiency , and fit out of the agricultural frontier efficiency under different resource constraints to provide a theoretical efficiency of agricultural support. And we clare the relationships between agriculture and get the providing data to the agricultural efficiency by using calculation results of matrix network DEA model. Otherwise we summarize the way to improve agricultural efficiency.
