With the technical and economic era coming ,the further development of global economic integration process ,as well as the impact of financial crisis ,Chinese steel companies facing unprecedented difficulties and more intense market competition. So ,in this situation ,what ideas and tools should be adopt for resolving internal management issues ,then companies can improve efficiency and increase revenue? Although more and more enterprises have been aware of the need to achieve transformation through information technology ,has also recognized the ERP management systems can solve business issues effectively and improve the existing level of business management and competitiveness. but there are few successful cases in ERP system application ,how to use ERP successfully and effectively need to summarize research .This contents are divided into five parts:The first part points the paper background ,significance ,research contents and methods.The second part introduces the concepts and It's importance ,the main modules and function, and our enterprise status of implementation of the ERP systems concisely .The third part describes the ERP implementation process in Xinye steel company ,using the comparative method analysises the effect of the ERP implementation .The forth part summarises the problems in ERP implementation process and proposes effective solutions .The fifth part combines the experiences of other companies and summarizes experiences in the ERP system implementation which can be referenced for us .Finally ,we can look the future prospects of the ERP implementation of Chinese steel industry.In this paper ,uses methods concluding refer to the literature ,case studies , comparative analysis ,lessons learned ,summarizes how to use ERP systems successfully and effectively .This paper highlights the support of senior leadership ,the building of elite team and the importance of training throughout the course ,highlights the importance of the ERP systems and the ERP system management thinking ,highlights the importance of the ordering basic data and the reengineering before the ERP implementation.
