To strengthen enterprise management information is the core competence of the objective need, which is an important way of management innovation, is also effective measures to solve the problems in enterprise management. The implementations of enterprise strategy need sound and effective internal control mechanism as a guarantee, which need integrated ERP system to support. ERP system timely and accurately analyzes and processes large, dynamic, and complicated data and information, thus to achieve rational use of resources, to minimize inventory and capital occupancy, to enhance enterprise strain capacity, to improve enterprise market competition and the economic efficiency, ultimately make enterprise management really go into scientific management from experience administration management.This paper found the opportunity and demand of the implementation of ERP through survey and analysis of present situation of management and information, and process of BPR, which take HuaLing Liangyuan steel group Co. LTD as sample. This paper firstly discusses the background and significance of research, which focus on review of the related ERP theory and research status from a theoretical perspective, thus put forward research method and content; Secondly, it introduces status of information management and process of BPR, and analyzes demand of ERP implementation; thus it analyzes aim, preparations stage and process of project implementation, and emphasis on ERP implementation process. Finally, the overall effect and the worth of function management of ERP implementation are analyzed. And analysis of success factors and characteristics of the ERP implementation provides experience for other enterprise ERP implementation.This paper, using theory with the practice and applying modern advanced theory, focuses on researching ERP system in large state-owned enterprise. The paper researches strategy and method of ERP implementation and summarizes the characteristics. The paper, combined with the experience of the same industry implementation, in order to find method of overcoming obstacles about implement ERP, offers a new idea for research of the management software value.
