An Empirical Research On Enterprises' Innovation Network Configuration Pattern And Technology Innovation Performance

Along with the globalized time's arrival,the information technology get the swift development, the environment of competition for enterprise becomes more and more intense. the enterprise is impossible to carry on the innovation completely isolated, the enterprise have to establishment cooperation with other organization and construct enterprise innovation network to obtain the innovation resources. But now enterprises and scholars all face one critical problem: which type of enterprises'innovation network is actually effective for their technology innovation performance? And here this article takes the Zhejiang Province enterprise as the main object of study, and use the society network analysis theory to discuss the relationship between enterprise innovation network configuration pattern and technological innovation performance. Then based on the empirical conclusions, This paper try to provide the objective basis and the science suggestion for their innovation network management.The paper includes three steps discussion. First of all, from the past relevant studies, the basic theoretical model and hypothesis are reviewed. Secondly, data were collected from Enterprise intermediate and senior managers by questionnaires, items of which were extracted from classical scales and modified or self-designed through small sample research. Then we have got 354 enterprises'valid questionnaire.Finally, this paper used SPSS 15.0 and EXCEL 2007 to analyse empirically the theoretical model and hypotheses. The main results are as follows:(1) This article finds six kinds of typical innovation network configuration pattern: Isolated island pattern, Dependent customer pattern, Supply chain pattern, Government actuation pattern, University cooperation pattern, the spider net pattern.(2) The enterprises which lack the innovation network cooperation get lower technological innovation performance, just as the empirical confirms shows: The enterprises'technological innovation achievements obviously are lower when they hold the isolated island network configuration pattern.(3) The spider net innovation network configuration pattern has the huge innovation potential, but it is not the most advantageous to promotion enterprises'technological innovation performance. Just like this article empirical conclusion: The spider net pattern suits the Major enterprises, but does not suit the Small and medium-sized enterprises. (4) This research discovery that there don't exist only one optimization innovation network configuration pattern favored the technological innovation performance.Different types of technology innovation need to match the different types of innovation network configuration pattern. Such as: The product innovation performance and the process innovation performance need to match the different types of innovation network configuration pattern.(5) Enterprises must select correct innovation network configuration pattern according to their own scale and sci-tech types. As this paper's finding that the enterprises'technology innovation performance with different scales and sci-tech types were influenced differently by innovation network patterns.
