The paper verifies the impact of the information technology has on record industry by using method of econometrics.The paper firstly identifies the current problems of the record industry in China and then gives the definition of the concept of technology innovation, record industry and information manufacturing industry and in the end identifies the research subject. The paper conducts a deeper discussion of product feature and technical characteristics in record industry based on the studies of the reference home and abroad. At the same time the paper analyzed the impact on record industry by using SCP paradigm in three ways. They are market structure, market conduct and market performance.
