The Research Of External Energy Security In China

Energy is an important strategic material in support of national economic and social development. Security of energy supply to maintain a country's economic growth is the key factor, and it is the basis of national economy and security. Energy issues are not only related to the country's economic security, but also to the military situation and the political situation changes.With China's rapid economic development, energy demand is increasing, the situation of China's energy production is not very satisfactory. Domestic energy production can not meet the needs of China's economic development. So, imported energy is necessary. However, the external energy supply disruptions and oil price fluctuations, etc., to bring great harm to China's energy security, With the increasing dependence on foreign energy, external energy security is forced on the agenda. Therefore, this article discusses the external energy security issues.First, this paper describe the domestic and foreign literature, on this basis, this paper analysis the status of external energy security, adopt western economic theory of supply and demand, discuss the process of energy security,and summarize the scientific content of energy economic security. Second, the part of the economic analysis for energy security, describes the economic and political attributes of oil resources as oil is the major component of energy. Then further analysis the impact factors of the external energy security. In the end, this paper uses the REES index, build the model for in-depth study, use of econometric methods to analysis the relationship between international oil prices,the world's proven oil reserves and China's energy security.
