Energy is the important strategic resource of a nation and serves as a significant material foundation for the survival and development of human society. During this period, the connotation of the concept of energy security has also been deepened and developed into a series of comprehensive security risks and threats, covering energy supply, demand, prices, transportation, to energy use, etc.In recent years, with the rapid development of Chinese economy, China is also face with complicated and severe energy security situation. China's energy security has not only been constrained by some interior factors such as the increased demand and unreasonable energy structure bus also be threatened by the intensive dependence on oil importation, weak transport links and tense international energy game. Facing with increasingly highlighted problem, China's government puts forward the new concept of energy security, with'reciprocal cooperation, multiple development, collaborative assurance'as its core, aiming to promote the realization of global energy security. The new concept denies the traditional views on energy security and serves as a significant theoretical innovation of the concept of energy security. For the past many years, the Chinese government has vigorously carried out new diplomacies in order to achieve the goal of building a harmonious world. Basing on its own energy security and taking the solving of world energy security problems as an important basis of the global energy security, China has worked out a series of domestic and international strategies in safeguarding Chinese energy security and made global dialogues on energy and strengthened energy cooperation as the fundamental measure for the realization of global energy security.
