Since reform and opening up,China's economy has got great achievement,which is the mainstream and shows that the policy of our party and state is wise;but there exist unfair distribution of income and the wide gap of income too,which is not conducive to social stability and the building of a harmonious society.Although the re are a variety of reasons for the unfair income distribution,but the most important one is unfair initial distribution.Taking the resident's initial distribution for research subject in Socialist Market Economy.First,this thesis analyses initial distribution institution's changing, by studying the changing history of initial distribution institution of western country and China,this paper believes it is an inevitable trend for all owner ships of property rights in a firm to share firm surplus;Second,based on the current situation analysis of initial distribution,the wide gap of income and its damage in our country ,it is necessary to reform the corrent initial distribution.finially,based on the current situation of our country,countermeasure and suggestion of reforming initial distribution are given.The study indicate,distribution according to production factors will surely enlarge the gap of individual income in our country since reform and open.The proper gap in individual income is beneficial to economy's development .but if the gap is too large ,it will get the contrary result ,it is not beneficial to economy's long-term development and society's steady.So we must properly deal with the relation between efficiency and fairness,perform the re-distribution policy of individual income, establish and make perfect of the system of income taxes and society's guarantees,properly adjust the too large gap made by distribution according to production factors.
