Project cost control is the management method to control the actual project cost within the budget during the project period. Project cost control is the concern of each enterprise, it is directly involved on the success of project development. The theory and method of project cost control is the basis of project cost control in enterprises, and the study on them can provide the theoretical basis for project cost control.In this article, introduce the concept on Cost, Project Cost, Control Process, & Project Cost Control first, then, have the detailed discussion on the methods of project cost control, which are used widely, as: Work Breakdown Structure , Cost Analysis Table, Value Earned Management, Engineering Cost Analysis, Value Engineering, and Theory of Constraints. At last, briefly introduce the output of the project cost control, history and future of project cost control.This article discusses in detail on the management philosophy and specific methods of project cost control in SKT, and focused on the project cost control method study in SKT. Later, discusses how to meet the concept as"developing the continuously profitable product".During the project cost review, uses three indicators: Profit Before Tax/ Profit After Tax (PBT/ PAT), Return on Investment (ROI), and Profit Balance Point (PBP) , to check the actual cost.Finally, this article shows the results of project cost control implementation, based on: economic benefits, predictability of cost, customer satisfaction, on time delivery, and team-building, in SKT.
