| Eco-agriculture construction is a great strategy for realizing sustainable development and accelerating agricultural modernization. In the beginning of 1980s, the government of China lists eco-agriculture development as the agenda. By now, our country's eco-agriculture construction goes through several different stages, such as experiment research, demonstration region construct, popularize in large scale, perfect and improve step by step etc. During this period, we achieve some successful experience and meet some contradictions and questions too. All those mean our total agricultural development level is still low. With China entering WTO, the competition becomes more and more severity both at home and abroad, especially for farm products market. In order to change the backward situation, we must prompt agricultural structure adjustment and construct modern eco-agriculture. Therefore, the most important thing for us is to search for a good agricultural economy development pattern with regional characteristics which suits to different area.Shiyang River in Hexi region of Gansu Province is one of the three major inland river. Because of the natural and human factors, the whole basin is in a serious ecological crisis and Minqin county's ecological environment is worsening. But Minqin county is of strategic importance to Chinese ecological pattern, so it's very important significance that we should protect its environment and advance the development of this region by researching into Minqin's agricultural development.Combined with the actual condition of Minqin agriculture development, this article analyses the necessity and feasibility of developing the eco-agriculture in this region, Five kinds of eco-agriculture gateways of Minqin were put forward. And it also analyzed and appraised the synthes is benefit in this region. |
