Study On The Hui People's Marriage Customs In Zhangjiachuan County From The Perspective Of Feminism

Marriage customs is a typical folk customs, different peoples have different ideas about marriage customs. So they have different ceremony and form. Hui Muslim people's marriage customs have retained the basic characteristics of Islam, at the same time , It was influenced by traditional Han people's culture.Up to now ,scholars have focused on marriage reform in base areas from the ceremony.However,the multiple researches about women have not been exposed. I have chosen my hometown Zhangjiachuan for the investigation, The purpose of this thesis is to analyze the marriage transformation in base areas comprehensively and systematically with feminism theory.The thesis is divided into four chapters. The first chapter is an introduction, including the background and significance of writing. The second chapter have discussed the natural environment and cultural background. The third chapter is the core of this thesis, describing Zhangjiachuan Hui people's traditional marriage customs, and analyzing female folklore cultural contents from the perspective of feminism .The fourth chapter the changing of traditional marriage customs in contemporary society. However, people's survival needs is unchanged in the changes of the folk system.
