Study On Affecting Factors Of Construction Project Success In Contractor

As China's rapid economic development, the state has introduced a series of new policies on urban construction, rural development in recent years. Furthermore, since the impact of natural disasters, China's Sichuan, Yunnan, Xinjiang, Tibet and other places has been severely damaged, the government quickly launched a post-disaster reconstruction, which are related to the large number of projects. To ensure good quality of these projects, the contractor must be clear with which factors influence the project's success, and then control and manage these factors. This paper is to study on affecting factors of construction project success in contractor view, to find the key factors that affect the project success, to clear the project success criteria, and explore the relationship between these factor and the criteria.First, on the basis of analyzing and summarizing the existing research papers, the project criteria is no longer the traditional "iron triangle" standard. This paper grouped the criteria into three-dimensional:success based on the project, the success based on community, the success based on stakeholders; grouped the influence factors into three-dimensional:the contractor's own factors, project factors, environmental factors.Second, all the data are analyzed with SPSS, the main results are summarized as follows:the criteria can be grouped into three-dimensional; the influence factors can be grouped into four-dimensional; there is linear correlation between the success factors and success criteria; contractor team members, resource availability, the importance of project are the critical factors; the influence from contractor's manager, contractor management, project technical factors, natural environment, economic environment are unstable; the influence from project size, project specific standards, cultural are not very obvious.At last, this study provides some practice advice for contract to improve the project success rate.
