Research On Recreation Project Construction Of Urban Forest

As long as tourism of our country is shifting from traditional tour for sightseeing to tour for making holidays and for health care in the face of the continuing deterioration of urban living environment, urban forest, which has become the first resort of urban citizens for play and relax, has drawn extensive attention because of its unique land features ad favorable ecotypic environment. Projects on recreation in urban forest (PRUF) are leading the main trends of the development on urban forest resource of today and tomorrow. Projects have drawn special attention of a number of scholars. Promoting PRUF projects is significant both in making better use of urban forest resource and in the improvement of people's living quality. It is significant both in the diversification of the tour products and in enhancing the regional image. This paper has put forward some new theories on PRUF projects and construction with the results of years'research in some constitude. Moreover, Su Xianling Urban Forest Health Care Center is set as an example to research in the development of PRUF projects.The whole text is divided into 5 parts.Part one Introduction.Brief introduction to the research backgrounds, methods as well as significance of the paper. Discussion on the research findings on urban forest and forest recreation both at home and abroad.Part two Theory.Because of the specialty and complexity of recreation in urban forest, no consensus has been reached among scholars in defining the concepts of "urban forest" as well as "recreation" and "tourism". As a result, the text explicit on the those concepts with the research of some experts. Then, based on the related theories of forestation, ecotype, aestheticism and tourism, this part discusses the theoretical foundation for PRCF projects and principles for developing such projects, followed by the analysis on types and constructive procedures and the assessment of the projects.Part Three A case study The project and construction of Su Xianling Urban Forest Health Care Center is regarded as an example to analyze the constructive principles.Part Four Conclusion mainly on summarizing the research results of the paper with a discussion o further research field.Though PRUF projects own the common features of tour products, a special emphasis should be paid to its unique features in the process of its development. Such projects should be constructed in coordination with the layout of the whole esplanade. Sufficient investigation research is needed ahead to ensure the market demand in the development of such projects.
