For a long time, the forest product marking decision was an important and difficult point in the management of forestry business in China. It is the important subject for the decision—makers in the forestry business to predict the distribution of the forestry products and optimize the distribution route.GA (genetic algorithm) is a new optimizing and searching algorithm based on the natural selection and the heredity mechanism of the biology. As an effective and searching method, GA has been applied into many aspects on combination optimization and machine studying intensively because of its fitted features of robustness, parallelism and self-adaptation. GA gets the more and more important status in the application of the computer vision and offers a new and effective solution to forecast the problems in the decision making system.This paper uses GA to process the forestry products distribution dates which are picked from Zhuposhan Forestry Company in the recent two years and gets the realizations through tool program functions which are provided by the MATLAB GA tools.Firstly, the data are divided into subsections according to the characteristic data we wanted, that is to say, the date can stand for the size of the characteristic original data, we operate the GA separately in the subsection and we can get the characteristic data we wanted after we carry out all the data subsections. Secondly, because the data that we measured have the characteristics of large amount, the large value scope and the high precision, in order to improve the quality of the GA, we firstly preprocess the original data and then we adopt the floating-point coding, we increase a relative small datum to construct the initiate value scope through the original data in the subsection. Finally, the running results of actual data indicate that the characteristic data which are obtained from algorithm can represent the original data sufficiently, and achieve the aim of the whole swarm sampling. It provides the credible data for selling prediction on the forestry product of Zhuposhan Forestry Company.There is the other application about GA, After analyzing the existed goods distribution situations of the forestry products of Zhuposhan Forestry, This paper points that the distribution of the forestry products is the typical VRP(Vehicle Route Problem) problem and establishes the mathematical model to construct a Liuhai crossover method that has the relatively swarm searching ability. This paper also improves the original GA and puts forward the solution strategy of the optimization of distribution routes of the goods. This paper uses the MATLAB to program the calculation program and gets the rapid solution procedure that mentioned above.This paper adopts GA in the application of swarm searching and optimization to test the feasibility and the superiority with an example and proves the accuracy and currency in solving these related problems. The system can meet the forestry company's supporting demands and play a big role in the marketing decision--making. What's more, this system can enhance the calculation speed. The prediction results are accurate and have the high quality. This system can offer some effective decision--making supports to the company's top-level marketing decision makers and enhance the ability of the decision makers to realize the science and effectiveness of the forestry company's marketing decision.
