In food and beverage industry, caterings accounted for 70%(about 6 million business units). Because of its particularity, manual processing were more highly arbitrary, and operators improper operation led to hazards and there would be very high risks of food poisoning. Food and hygiene departments had been focusing on hygiene surveillance and invested a lot to make improve the catering industry has been significantly improved. But in comparison to international peers, China's catering industry and the supervision and management of health status instruments was still relatively backward, just relying on the supervision of health supervision departments was not cost-effective way and not able to guaranteed the food safety. Therefore, The author believed that our country should promote the ISO22000:2005 Food Safety Management Systems-Requirements for any organization in the food chain in the restaurant industry.The object of study in this thesis was Guangzhou catering industry. The author selected Guangzhou Dongyuan Restaurant as the study sample of promotion and implementation ISO 22000 which had a sufficient infrastructures and good food hygiene management system, adequate manpower. Through this study reached the following conclusions:First of all, ISO22000:2005 standards in the implementation and enforcement of China's catering industry was feasible, and it was absolutely necessary; Secondly, this paper studied the implementation of ISO22000 standards at the Guangzhou Dongyuan Restaurant, through risks evaluation and chemical testing, significant food safety, hazards reducing, positive image to society were achieved. Finally, this paper basically formed the promotion and implementation of ISO 220000:2005 the theoretical system and operating methodology.The study result indicated that after Guangzhou Dongyuan Restaurant implemented ISO 22000:2005 and certificated, the loyalty of clients and customer satisfaction indices increased significantly. The trust of food safety from customers and food quality surveillance pass rated and government relative departments trust on the organization's food safety also dramatically enhanced.
