| Food is the basis of human survival and development. Food safety is directly related to human life and health, affecting the quality of human life. Food safety problems have always been an important concern of human beings. Food safety problems get worsen in recent years. Food safety has become most governments and people's focus of attention due to serious consequences caused by food-born diseases. Food safety not only threatens the health and lives of people, but also influences the country's economic development, international trade, social stability and prosperity.Catering industry is the last step from farm to table and food safety problems also got much attention by people in this industry. With the social development, although the management and employees'level have significantly improved in Catering industry, food safety problems still remain. Qingdao is a famous tourist city which receives tens thousands of tourists from all over the world every year. Catering industry as an important component of tourism industry, food safety problems have impacted directly on people's health and tourism industry sustainable development. At the same time, government of Qingdao tries to establish the city as the safest food city. In this context, this article analyses actual situation and problem of food safety in Catering industry of Qingdao. Getting more successful experiences from domestic and abroad in order to improve the efficiency of food supervision and strengthen self-discipline of Catering industry and provide more meaningful consultations for consumer's health.The theoretical analysis, empirical research methods, comparative research methods, the integrated use of the food security, crisis management theory are used in this thesis. Firstly, it elaborates thesis research background, objectives, significance and research contents and methods. More detailed information can be found on domestic and international food safety research and catering industry research. Secondly, it introduces the relevant basic concept and theory involved in this article research, including the introduction of food safety and the importance of connotation; classification of food safety hazard, the theory of HACCP and crisis management. Thirdly, through the relevant information collection and arrangement reveals that the food safety problem can not be optimistic in catering industry of Qingdao. It analyses food safety problem in Catering industry of Qingdao from three aspects: raw materials, processing and production, supervision and management and more detailed analysis of causes about these problems. Fourthly, it analyses food safety system from the representative developed countries like United States, the European Union, Japan and Beijing 2008 Olympics Catering food safety management experiences. Finally, on the basis of getting successful management experiences from domestic and abroad in line with Qingdao real situation, it constructs food safety supervision system of Catering industry from eight aspects and improved Catering industry food safety regulatory mechanism in Qingdao. There are eight systems: Set up good regulations and standards system; establish a unified, distinct responsibilities of the regulatory system; Speed up the monitoring system construction; Improve the credit system measures; Set up crisis early warning and management system; Strengthen self-discipline of Catering enterprises; Improve public awareness of food safety and let the public opinion and people play a supervision role. |
