Analysis On Farmers'will For Jujube Plant And Appropriate Scale In Jiaxian, Shaanxi Province

At present, Shandong, Hebei, Shanxi, Shaanxi, Henan is the five main producing areas in china. JiaXian is an old revolutionary base area in Shaanxi Province, the home of"Red East", located northeast of Shanxi Province, southeast of Yulin City, Qin Jin valley of central Yellow River. For many reasons, JiaXian is still a typical agricultural poor counties, the mainly economic crops are jujube, beans and potatoes, The GDP in 2009 is 1.632 billion, 3435 yuan per capita net income. Jujube is a leading industry in JiaXian, 40 000 ha of cultivated area, especially in recent years, the production of Jujube reaches a certain size.Jujube has made great progress as the leading industry, but there are many factors restricting the development when we focus on the development of it in recent years.By utilizing sociology,economics,agriculture,statistics and other basic theory, and investigating 200 jujube planting households of JiaXian in Shaanxi Province, this article summarized the 7 major constraints factors on JiaXian jujube industry development: 1. A large number of young strong peasants flock to city so that jujube management and protection serious affected; 2.The old jujube orchard and the old jujube varieties is badly in needed of rehabilitation; 3. The resist and prevent systems is extremely vulnerable to natural disasters; 4. Low industrial level of scale on jujube produce; 5. The policy of conversion of cropland to forest need to be adjusted, payment of subsidy payment failed to assign timely; 6.The weak processing capacity and the low level of jujube industrialization on jujube; 7.Inperfect social service system , poor information and sales profit also cause the problem. By analyzing the 1985-2009 dates of the trend of planting area and the overall of main food crops, confirm the jujube tree crop production status in JiaXian,the research shows that: the area and output increase of jujube become the growth point of economic and crop production in this region2.
