The paper redefined the Reurbanization under the sustainable development view, and on the basis of the life cycle of the resource-based cities divided into win-win, balanced and dilemma as three types,and establish the evaluation index system of reurbanization potential so that the sustainable development of resources city of shandong province has theoretical and practical significance. Based on the theoretical research and empirical research, through quantitative and qualitative analysis of the resource-based cities in shandong province analyzed systematically, this paper mainly divided into five major sections.
